Dear friend,

This week I’ve been in Outland visiting the great Black Temple in Shadowmoon Valley. Illidan was an excellent host, if a little morose, but I didn’t impose myself upon him for long, and booked myself into the Inn at Wildhammer Stronghold.

The dwarves are friendly but the bombs kept me awake; those infernal infernals just kept on attacking despite being fought back each time. Everything here is charred and green - so green! Everything seems to glow in the unrelenting night. Oh, how I miss seeing blue sky.

I’ve picked up a few souvenirs during my stay, like this rather large letter-opener. So it was worth the trip, but I am looking forward to moving on soon, once my new friend Akama has taken me to the top of the Hand of Guldan. Apparently the views are stunning.

Hey guys, this is Qelric!

So much has been going on lately: I’ve moved house, my computer broke down, I lost internet for 2 weeks, Patch 5.2 came out, I’ve collabed with wowhobbs and interviewed 2daywithpatrickj, I got a video on WoWInsider (Wrathion), and if that wasn’t enough I’ve been recruited as a writer for www.zam.com where I’ll have a weekly column!

This year is going to be awesome and I am so happy to have you all along for the ride! I’ve pledged to go to Blizzcon in November and have booked my hotel in Anaheim, California. I am so excited to go, although the long flight is not going to be much fun. :P I’ll be meeting up with Patrick and possibly Hobbs if he can make it, and I’ll be sure to take my camera and film it all for those of you who can’t make it.

So yeah, I’ve been pretty busy, lol. Soooo many videos covering Patch 5.2 for World of Warcraft. Did you see them? I’ll provide some links below just in case you missed any.

More importantly, Blizzard announced yesterday that they’d been working on a new game called Hearthstone, heroes of Warcraft. I’ve put up a video explaining exactly what it’s about with some footage and screenshots, so hit play on the video featured above!

My presence on YouTube and the internet in general is growing, and it’s all because of you guys who watch my videos, interact with me on Facebook and Twitter and share my videos. I can’t say how thankful I am, but one thing I can say is that I’ll be continuing to work hard on producing quality content in order to keep that momentum growing.

I have now switched over to the new ‘One Channel’ layout, but YouTube is an increasingly difficult environment to grow in, with people still getting unsubbed from channels without their knowledge or consent, videos not publishing to subscription feeds, video sharing through activity such as liking/commenting/favouriting is also hard to see. But I’ll keep going and I thank you for your continuing support of my channel!

I truly love what I do, and I hope to keep you entertained for a long time to come.

Hello! Sorry it has been so long since my last blog…my intention was to blog once per week but then life went crazy! However, here we are with a round up of what’s been going on lately and the videos I’ve put out. Have you missed any?

As you can see from the picture, I have listened to a lot of my viewers and put out a consolidated Unholy DK guide. It is very concise and to the point, with annotations that allow you to skip right to the part of the video you want to watch!

I have also been trying out a new format of video for you, where I complete the new MoP heroics and show you how I go about tanking them, the process I go through of learning the boss tactics without looking anything up, etc. Let me know what you think! Hey guys

Today is my last day off work, back to work tomorrow. :( But at least this past week I have tried to make as many videos as I could of various games and even some vlogs for you. :)

I am very excited to be playing the Half Life 2 mod “Black Mesa Source” and if you haven’t seen the videos I have put up for this game then you should check them out by clicking HERE. It’s a great game, I loved the original Half Life games and I may even revisit those at some point.

However, Mists of Pandaria is just 1 week away and WoW will be eating up a lot of my spare time, first levelling and then raiding (I hope). Tomorrow is the pre-xpac event, Battle of Theramore, and today I must update my addons and empty my bags in preparation!

Speaking of WoW, TGN asked me to create a weekly news series on their main channel, and tonight my 1st episode will air! I would appreciate it if you all went there and gave it some support when I announce the link to the video, because I have been warned to expect a lot of hate and /dislikes. :( Don’t let the haters win!

My adventures in Guild Wars 2 continues, you can watch the latest episode HERE. I have pretty much decided to make the Norn Guardian my main, but we shall see. :)

Hey guys, another update for you!

I’m having a lot of fun in Guild Wars 2 and I hope you’ve all been enjoying my videos on this fun game. I’m attempting to cover the gameplay of all the classes and so far I have played an elementalist, engineer, ranger and a necromancer. I want you all to know that I fixed the quality issues I was having recording GW2 and that the 2 episodes I put up today on the necromancer class are really awesome. See for yourself! I also had some fun with a video featuring the female dances of the game, and even did a little dancing myself. You can check that out HERE if you haven’t seen it already.

I’m still waiting for my Secret World mp4 file to be fixed and returned to me, and when that happens I can make videos out of it for you all. I have no subscribed to the game and intend to continue playing. The guy who is fixing the file is having to write a program for it, but I think he’ll come good.

I haven’t forgoteen about WoW, and even put out a guide on how to get not only a new companion pet but ALL the pets in Dalaran. You can watch that HERE. Mists of Pandaria will be out soon and you can be sure I’ll be putting out a ton of videos on it. I’ve even been given LIVESTREAM capabilities through my YouTube channel, so I’ll be live streaming again very soon!

Lastly, please give me your feedback on these latest videos. The GW2 vids have received a lot of hits, and that’s great. In fact my channel is receiving a lot of hits, so many that the video view counter routinely sticks! This past week alone I’ve had 18k+ views.

Oh and I almost forgot. I had a conversation with Hobbs 2 nights ago in which he suggested he might have time for our collab soon, so watch this space. In fact, he put me on his featured channels list!

Hello!

Wow this has been a busy week! Do you realise that I am now playing 4 different mmos at the same time? Lol. Yes, I am crazy. But it sure is fun!

The Secret World is awesome, and videos will start to appear on my channel just as soon as I get back the repaired file of my first night playing it. Meanwhile I am covering Guild Wars 2!

I intend to cover every race/class in this game and have already put Engineer and Elementalist videos up. Coming next is Warrior, and after that I don’t know yet. So part 1 of the Engineer series is HERE and Part 1 of the Elementalist series is HERE.

Mists of Pandaria is less than a month away and the pre-xpac patch is about to hit too. Are you prepared? If you haven’t read any patch notes yet, check out THIS video. Oh, and if you’re worried about currency conversion, watch THIS.

The next episode of Star Trek Online will also go up soon (in fact it’s uploading as I type this) I just don’t know yet when I’ll make it public. Today I also interviewed another channel for my Qnet series, but I think that one is going to have to wait for now.

I’m looking forward to getting some feedback from you guys on my GW2 coverage, for it certainly has NOT been easy to produce those vids. The game itself is cpu hungry, and that combined with my cpu hungry recording software has caused a few hiccups. But still I make these videos for you and for me, the game is very enjoyable and I hope you all enjoy watching the vids.

I’m really excited to be getting back into making more World of Warcraft videos for you all, specifically guides! This week you’ve seen me ding level 87 in the Mists of Pandaria BETA (click here to watch it if you missed it), but it’s time to get back to making guides/tutorials etc for our favourite game.

Currently I am editing the first video for my new series ‘The Q Network’ and that should be up on the channel soon. Another interview is planned for Monday and I’m really looking forward to it.

So what else have I been up to? Well there’s the ‘Guild Perks’ video, in which I discuss upcoming changes to guild perks in the Mists of Pandaria. I’ve also been chilling out (lol) playing a funky little platform game called ‘A Flipping Good Time’ which is the video above. Part 2 is here.

Tonight’s video is something of a vlog where I discuss my plans to level through the dungeon finder when Mists of Pandaria goes live, and what talents I’ll be taking etc. Click here to watch and please leave comments!

Hey guys!

First things first, let me just say that I have interviewed 2 decent youtubers so far for my new series: The Q Network! I know I haven’t given a lot of info about this yet but I want to play with the idea of giving shoutouts in an epic way so I’ll be seeing what I can create before going too public. However, in a nutshell I will be introducing other youtuber’s channels to you, making friends, and collabing with them in the future.

This week I’m afraid there will less videos now that I am off my holiday and back to work. However, much is planned for the near future so stay tuned! Last night I filmed some more Star Trek Online footage, hence the picture above. Who’d have thought I’d find a disco on a starship?!

Some of you may have seen me complain about a video view ‘bug’ where the counter did not update. It’s almost fixed but still sticks from time to time - only an annoyance to me as I was seeing regular progress on socialblade.com. I am now, and have been for a few weeks, getting more than 1k views per day! The only let down is that just 7-8% of my views come from subscribers.

Hey guys, it’s Q with another blog.

I’ve had a lot of fun making twice as many videos for you this past week. How many of them did you watch? We’ve got Exmortis and SCP, which are both horror games and gave me a few scares! I also started some discussion around the LFR in Mists of Pandaria HERE.

Last night I conducted an experiment by releasing my latest Dead Space 2 video at 3am, just to see if would it get more views (from America/Canada etc) but it performed about the same. I know a lot of my subs are here for the WoW content, but it would be nice if these other gameplay vids got some views too!

The video that got the most attention was ‘I’m a Tank,’ which was a music video collab between me and Teknoaxe. Opinion is well and truly divided on this one, which I don’t really understand but the internet is an unpredictable place. I’d like to thank Teknoaxe for his involvement, I think he did a great job with the track.

I also played some more MoP and shared my questing experience with you HERE. Coming up soon (I hope) will be a couple of collabs where I will introduce you to some other youtubers over the next few weeks.

My daily view count is continuing to climb, so thank you to all of you who continue to watch and enjoy my videos. There are some of you who comment and /like on a regular basis. You know who you are, I know who you are, so TANKS!

Oh boy oh boy oh boy, I have been sooooo busy making videos for you all! And this afternoon I released episode 4 of my ‘Let’s Play Mists of Pandaria’ series, while tonight I made public episode of 3 of ‘Star Trek Online.’ That’s 2 videos in a day and something I hope to repeat for the rest of the week.

I submitted another Dead Space 2 video to TGNFPS (watch it here), and there are 8 MORE ON MY CHANNEL JUST WAITING TO BE MADE PUBLIC! Sorry, felt like a caps moment. :P

Right now I am editing more MoP gameplay, and next on my list of things to do is play and record a list of games I’ve compiled from various sources (Horror games, much like Slender). Fun!

Collabs are something that will come soon, so don’t forget about those. This week the activity on my youtube channel from my own subscribers has been very low, but fortunately I’m still averaging 1k views per day thanks to youtube searches. Even so I want my subscribers to see my videos…I’m guessing the summer holidays are having an effect? Hope you’re all enjoying yourselves but come back soon!
